Today we launched a new 8-processor, high-tech web server.
The new web server has been optimised to serve MySQL-based websites in every respect, with 16 Gbyte of RAM and 15 000 RPM hard disks, in addition to the fastest processors available. The software environment of the hosting is perfectly suited to run any MySQL-based content manager (Joomla, Drupal, e107, etc.).
What's new is that MySQL 5.0 database engine is now available on the new web server hosts.
According to the aggregated statistics of www.cpubenchmark.com, the deployed web server is one of the fastest servers currently available on x86, twice as fast as our then state-of-the-art four-processor servers deployed in the autumn of 2007.
